Energy Savings

BETTER ENERGY EFFICIENCY

Reduced energy consumption does not mean less performance. Some Moulinex products need less energy to do the same job. And that's good for your energy consumption!

Did you know?

On average, the most important part of our carbon footprint* is linked to our products’ day-to-day usage. So we're looking for solutions to improve their energy efficiency.

Our engagements for better energy efficiency

We have several products ranges allowing to reduce energy consumption such as:

  • New Subito toasters with up to 27% less energy1
  • Filter coffee makers with optional ""no keep-warm"" setting that saves up to 19% energy2
  • Air fryers with up to 70% energy saving3
  • and our eco-modes integrated in some products, with for example up to 37% energy saving for a toaster, by heating only one side of the toaster (if only one toast is needed).

And we will keep continuing our efforts to reduce the energy consumption of our products.

1: Compared to Subito toaster LS340
2: Compared to keeping warm function on
3: vs traditional oven Energy Class A. Tests conducted in 2024 on frozen fries.

And how do we do that in practice?

Our research and development teams design ingenious solutions so that our products require less energy while providing same service.

To achieve this, we seek to optimise the efficiency of the most energy-intensive technologies in our products. We also hunt down unnecessary energy losses and leaks, and we observe our consumers in order to adapt our products to their real needs.

Discover products with better energy efficiency

Because we all want to reduce energy consumption, let's save it!

Energy efficiency starts at home. Discover these simple tips to help you reduce your daily energy consumption:

Just what you need

Heat only the amount of water needed, this will consume less energy and the hot water will be ready much faster.

Adjust the temperature of your kettle

Setting the temperature of your kettle helps you save energy by avoiding overheating and unnecessary energy consumption. By heating water to 80°C instead of 100°C, you can save 25% on electricity. You can also turn off the kettle when water is already hot but not boiling.

Batch cooking for energy efficiency

Save yourself time and energy by batch cooking: prepare meals in advance so you turn on your appliance less often and make the most of the energy when you use it.

Cook smarter with your kettle

Boiling water in your kettle for cooking saves time and energy. Kettles are more energy-efficient than stovetop burners due to faster heating, precise measurement and no wasted heat.
